Product build and go-to-market
A consultancy had an internal toolkit its staff used on every job. We turned it into a product, built it out and took it to market. It now earns significant recurring revenue and has won a stack of industry awards.
Our work
Most of our clients are very good at what they do: research institutes, law firms, unions, councils, peak bodies, consultancies and some of the country's biggest builders and manufacturers.
Client portals
Property consultancies, law firms and others run client portals we built. One sells a planning consultancy's research. Another lets a union's elected councillors debate and decide together.
ERP integration
A global environmental services company had an ERP integration spanning several systems and processing about $100 million a year. The code was undocumented and it wasn't working. We worked out what it did, fixed it and documented it for whoever works on it next.
Research and collaboration wikis
We've built a lot of these, for flagship clients in medical research, property research, law and education. Most of the work is underneath: metadata so pages can be filtered and found, navigation that follows how the organisation thinks and governance that says who owns each page and when it gets reviewed, so the wiki stays current long after launch.
Licensing automation
A large business was paying for Microsoft licences it wasn't using. We analysed and automated its licensing, and the changes save about $1 million a year.
Intranets
We've built more intranets than we can count, across almost every industry in the country: city and local councils, manufacturers, national sports and peak medical associations, community organisations and one of the country's biggest home builders.
Social network
A manufacturer grown by acquisition had about 7,000 staff across what used to be separate companies. We rolled out Yammer across the group so knowledge moves between them.
Due diligence and handover
An advanced manufacturer was sold to a regulated overseas buyer. We got its technology, assets and operations documented, ready for due diligence and handover. The transition went smoothly, with a 10-year plan in place.
Cloud migration, website
A network installer ran on virtual desktops, so its crews couldn't reach their documents out on the job. We moved it to Microsoft 365 and cloud accounting, and rebuilt its website. Recurring IT costs fell 80 percent.
Point-of-sale, network, website
A restaurant in Melbourne's inner west lost its point-of-sale. In one day we replaced it, rebuilt the network and launched a new website, brand and words included.
